A little about me:

About Adam Nelson

Most leadership coaches understand leadership in theory. Adam Nelson has lived it in one of the most demanding arenas there is — public affairs.

Over 20+ years, Adam built and ran multimillion-dollar advocacy campaigns, managed the largest corporate utility PAC in the country, grew a physician advocacy network by 700% in three months, and led a national association through a period of significant industry upheaval. He didn't just observe these environments — he won awards for innovating inside them.

That's what makes OOVOS different. When you sit down with Adam, you're not explaining what a markup is, why a whip count matters, or what it feels like to have a bill die in committee after two years of work. He already knows. He's been in the room. And because he's been in that room, he knows something else too — that the skills that make you exceptional at influencing policy aren't always the same ones that help you lead a team, navigate a career pivot, or figure out what you actually want next.

That's the gap Adam coaches into.

Whether you're a Hill staffer wondering if there's life beyond the next election cycle, a federal agency professional feeling stuck, or an association leader carrying more than your title suggests — Adam has been where you are, and he knows how to help you find what's next.

He holds a Leadership & Performance Coaching Certificate from Brown University. He's hiked over 13,000 miles across 26 states and reached Mt. Everest Base Camp — which tells you something about how he approaches hard things. He's also a dad to two teenage daughters, which tells you something about his patience.

If you've built a career influencing others, it's time someone invested in you.
